Crysis system requirments?

I am a little confused about the system requirements for Crysis.

It seems to me that the processor speed is much higher on the minimum requirements compared to the recommended system specs.



Also, could you tell me if this machine would work with Crysis well and, if so, if it could run it on the highest setting.Crysis system requirments?
the reccomended cpu is much faster since it is a dual core. just try the demo if u want to know how it runs.

windows vista home premium 32 bit

intel core 2 duo 3.0 ghz

9800gtx

3gb of ram



runs crysis on very high at 1280x1024 at about 25 to 40 fps

The minimum specs are referring to a single core processor, the recommended are referring to a dual-core processor. It may seem like a lower speed, but a 2.2Ghz dual core is really more like 4.4ghz, because it is two processors. The computer listed, would play that game well.Crysis system requirments?
on the recommended, its says "Intel Core 2 DUO @ 2.2 Ghz".....that is TWO processors and not just one 2.8 Ghz one.... AND your machine is way above the recommended specs.... you have a QUAD core which is four cores.
Your computer will have no problem with that game. I also have a dual/core and i played Crysis and Crysis Warhead with a 8800 gts Nvidia graphics card. Awesome graphics and game play. Happy Gaming.
